About Cardinal Card Get Funds

GET Funds is a place where NIC students and employees can manage their Cardinal Card accounts. GET Funds provides valuable information about account balances and spending history, and enables you to report a lost or stolen card at any time of day or night.

Cardinal Cash allows you flexible spending options on campus for bookstore purchases, dining services, and printing services on campus. A minimum deposit of $5 is required to add funds through GET Funds. To add any dollar amount, visit the Cardinal Card Office in the Edmisnter Student Union.

Visit Cardinal Central on the main floor of Lee-Kildow Hall, Room 116 or call (208) 769-3311 if you have questions or encounter problems.

For Parents:

Get Funds allows you to deposit funds into your student's Cardinal Card accounts from home! Your student can initiate a Cardinal Cash fund request once they are logged in by entering a recipient email and name under the Quick Links navigation.  Parents can also go to the NIC GET Funds homepage and click on the "Click Here to Deposit into a Student's Account" link. You will need to enter the student's 7-digit Student ID, First Name, Last Name, and Birth Date. 

Cardinal Cash Withdrawals/Refunds:

Students: A refund may be processed upon request following submission of a Cardinal Cash Refund Form for those graduating or withdrawing from North Idaho College with an available Cardinal Cash balance. Please provide proof of graduation or withdrawal with your refund form. The balance of your account minus a $10.00 fee will be mailed via check to your listed address. There are no refunds if your Cardinal Cash is less than or equal to $10.00.

Employees: A refund may be processed upon request following submission of a Cardinal Cash Refund Form for those ending their employment with North Idaho College. The balance of your account minus a $10.00 fee will be mailed via check to your listed address. There are no refunds if your Cardinal Cash is less than or equal to $10.00.

You must have a valid Cardinal Card in order to register with GET Funds. Cardinal Cash cannot be used for cash withdrawals.
